This is how Jole Figliomeni, co-founder and CEO at M.A.S business solutions, starts her interview with me! Please, tell us something about yourself?
I was born and raise in Italy, but after completing my post-graduation at Politecnico di Milano. I move to West Africa where the opportunities were much greater than they would have been back home. In 2020. While working on different projects for various companies. I got an opportunity that ultimately led to founding MAS – A business consultancy firm that helps public and private sector companies adopt digital transformation.
What motivated you to start your own consultancy firm?
The desire to create something from scratch is innate within us. This motivation led me towards starting my own business, which was fuel by a fascination with successful entrepreneurs’ stories and the childhood dream of being able to run one myself.
Who has been the biggest inspiration in your professional career?
Jole Figliomeni a firm believer in the adage that says it takes someone with a strong personality and ability to achieve high standards for me. One such individual is Steve Jobs, who inspire my passion from an early age by being able to push through challenges despite losing sometimes… He had this zeal – or as they call “enthusiasm” these days- which made him want nothing less than impossible!
Tell us something about MAS Business Solutions?
In the business world, success often comes down to one thing- growth. It’s not always easy for small businesses with limit resources and expertise in marketing or management strategies like social media posts can be overwhelming at times! That’s where M.A S comes into play; we offer consulting services design specifically around helping you grow your company while preserving its unique culture, so it remains appealing both internally and externally.
What was your greatest challenge during your initial days?
One of the biggest challenges I face when starting M.A.S was finding reliable and trust consultants to help me with my business plan, but now that we’re establish in this industry, there is no better team than ours. Fortunately, I have a team committed to providing high-quality services that will not only help your company succeed but grow with us as we continue on this exciting path.
What’s the key to helping your business thrive?
The lessons Jole Figliomeni have learn to help my business thrive are many and varied. But one thing that always shines through them is a positive mindset. Starting each day with an optimistic view of the world has been key for me. In achieving success as both entrepreneur and a person alike. “One thing that’s help me tremendously in my entrepreneurial journey was learning how important it is to take care of myself.”
What advice would you like to give to young women aspiring to be successful entrepreneurs?
Women are great entrepreneurs, but they need to be more confident in order to succeed. The young and ambitious women of today should take advantage of their opportunities. By following in the footsteps that previous generations have tread. Get start right away and find a trustworthy mentor who will help guide you through. The process of starting your own business with wisdom. Knowledge, and patience – all things which are necessary for success!
